this site has a database or rather a csv file of ip ranges to country listings that is updated once a year. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by including it in the signup page. I have started testing this and have simple country determination script you can test

i am hoping to build this into camsonline plugin to show a flag for each online user, however l once l understand how plugins work for e107 could certainly included anyware as script is quiet simple.

add a table of countries to your DB and then create the custom user field from 'table'. e107 can already do this.

A built in sql file which would add this table for the Admins( Installable tjru ACP) as an admin option would've been a great addition.
