Sorry, if it took awhile but as it still has links are presented from categories going topmost to bottomost in one column. How about a way to organize them in two columns. Say for instance one category at a left column and a scond at the right or the top category has the child links in two columns: links 1, 2, 3, 4 at the left and 5, 6, 7, 8 at the right. Or something like that. Giving it a bit more flexibility in templating the links.
