[Core plugin] Chatbox editing

Description This is in the comments of the news post about the ideas, but I thought putting it here would help get it really looked at.

I would like the option to beable to edit each chatbox post, it would probably call for a rewrite of the chatbox code, but I think it would be a nice feature, I'm pretty sure many other people would agree.

In the interest of freedom of speech I kind of disagree with this one - you could 'censor' stuff for sure, but you could also re-invent what the post was.

Can be done anyway via other tools, no need to make it easier.

Or am I wrong?
