Already possible. I believe it's define("LINKDISPLAY",4);
In your theme.php that will do this. If I understand what you mean.

No McFly, idea is to be able to include other links categories in the main menu. and not only the MAIN categories.LINKDISPLAY=4 is used for ypslide menu (???? No idea who added that in sitelinks_class.php)
