e107 website

Hi i have an e107 website the new one .
I cant get the welcome message to show or news feed or the New Forum Posts plugin ..

Is it cos im using the new version of e107 as i have an older version im running and it works on that...

Can any one help

Sorted the welcome box unticked Enclose
If ticked, the message will be rendered inside box
Override standard system to use {WMESSAGE} shortcode:

Now that shows .
But forum post plugin wont and news wont show in main section .. am i missing something?

I have one older site not on new version going when you go to domain it goes
domain/news.php
My new site on newest version goes
domain/index.php

but the older site version one shows forum and welcome box all in that page domain/news.php

But the new one has welcome box but no fourum or news and goes to domain/index.php

So i need to get the welcome message to show on domain/news.php
and make it so my domain goes to that.

But why does it do it ok on old version but not new..?

Which 'version' are we talking about here please.

You need to change your front page settings so they go to news.php instead of index.php. I would assume you're using the Core theme? Try changing it to something else as well as switching your front page.
