The ALPHA release of Ante Up! is finally here!

It's been a long wait (sorry), I know, but it's finally over. Below is a short list of things that have changed (that I can remember):

  • The Cash Manager has been rewritten.
  • The menu item now pulls data from the database, no more manually updating things!
  • Tons of hardcoded styling has been removed.
  • Tons of hardcoded paths have been converted.
  • The overall filesize of the plugin has been cut in half.

Now, I know you're anxious to get started using this plugin but there are some small ground rules that need laid out first. Some of them are in the readme file. One of them, however, is not. There is currently no script to convert your existing Roofdog Donation Tracker install over to Ante Up. It's possible it could happen, but not until at least the beta version.

Alright, no more delay:

Download the ALPHA release of Ante Up!

REMEMBER!!! Report any and all bugs to the issue tracker or in this thread.

After Alpha Planned Features

This is a list of things that will happen either during alpha, or directly after:

  • Toying with the idea of using a jQuery based progress bar. This would eliminated the need for a color selector and would reduce the code (and would get rid of the archaic table progress bar).
  • Cash Manager > Export data to Excel (.xls file, I like OpenOffice too!).
  • Rewrite/redo the donate.php page. It's.. lacking.

Note: This may or may not get updated often.

I want to let everyone know that 0.1.1 is coming up soon. This version won't really introduce that much, as it's really only small "fixes", tweaks, and will polish off the rest of the language file conversions.
