Problem with admin area

Hi im having a little trouble with the admin area in e107 i have just done a fresh install of e107 and when i go in to the admin area i get an internal server error wondering if anyone could help with this.

Ive made sure all the permissions of files are set to 644 and the folders set to 755 but still no luck

and im getting the following in the logs

Anyone any suggestions what i could try

It looks like you have copied the apache access log rather than the error log, could you try to find that one please?

Ok my mistake still trying to find something more on the lines of errors so far i can only see ftp logs and access logs will report back when i find something quite new to this

Ok. Your webhost provider may be able to help you with finding the right log. I'm pleasantly surprised that you knew you had to use a log file in the first place

Remove the server .htaccess file and see if the site comes back up

A wrong entry can cause the internal server error

Ok i have located the error logs only to find there not being any logs there confusing ive removed the htaccess file but still the same

i'm leaning towards thinking its something mysql database as i cant find e107_admin or am i totally going down the wrong road with that one

That's unlikely. Try going to the admin area and then viewing the error log, paste any contents on paste2.org and reply back with the link here.
I'll have to think about other possibilities in the mean time. Will get back to you.

managed to fix this thankfully the problem was somewhere with the admin theme and the plugin.php had to delete the e107_admin/plugin.php file and then change the theme then re install the file which seems to have fixed this
