Hi. I upgraded not so long ago from 0.7 to 1.0. I have two languages in my e107_languages directory - but only one is displayed on the site and users cannot choose their prefered language. Before the upgrade both languages worked fine.

The database is fine - tables in both languages, and Settings -> Language has multi language table support ticked.

Any ideas? How do I get my second language back?!!!

TIA

Hi Tgtje,

Thanks for the reply. The notification e-mail must have been 'spamed' so I wasn't aware of your response. Sorry about that!

What do you mean equal languages? Where do I get this information?

Cheers

to be sure that your site dispays the languages correct, you have to use language packs from same version as system.
So using v1 f.e. you should run the other language packs for version v1 too.
Using system v 1.0.1 (system = english) want to run German too? > needs German language pack v 1.0.1.. having an older different languagepack, can make the site run crippled or displaying LAN all over, or refuses executing some commands...
Update system ? update language also...

if this still does not work : greatest guess would be : non compatible code in a third party plugin.

Still no luck

I upgraded the e107 installation to 1.0.1 and added the Norwegian language pack for 1.0.1 as an experiment. However I still can't find any way to 'activate' the additional language. Multi language tables are selected but I never get the option to use Norwegian. Bah.

BTW the site is not running any plugins.
