ban helper banning entire site instead of selected few

I've had it for a few months with no problems but today its not working right. The settings are:

new user status expires after 10 posts and 10 days
deny link posting is checked
deny image posting is checked
maximum allowable posts is 8
disallow thread starting is checked.
and i told it to apply this restriction to members only

yet us admins or main admins cant post on the forums it keeps acting like we fall into the members category any idea?
