OK given the rapidly rising cost of postage etc. I want to create a 'certificate' in a custom page created from admin >> custompages

The logo, layout etc. etc. isn't an issue but....

How do I insert the members user id, and user login name on the page + a print icon/link to print the page?

I have tried the core shortcodes but they don't work (nothing gets displayed

I want to use a custom page as I can restrict the userclass to the group the member has joined and don't want a 'stand alone' page as anyone could navigate to it

Any suggestions/assistance greatly appreciated.

You can restrict access to a standalone custom page; and given your requirements, that may be the simplest way.
This is the basic structure: [-link-]

Any user variables not defined as constants are probably in the $currentuser array.

Thanks Steve, that works nicely. Just need to add all the other text in now

What does it need to add a 'Print' button?
