the subject says it all.. why hasnt this been done to prevent spam...
if i leave forum posting to guest/everyone it gets filled with spam post.. but i believe if there was a captcha before the post it would stop it.
I can code it easy, but i do not know how to take my code into a plugin outside of the forum plugin....any ideas?

okay after testing, and even doing a lil digging into debugging it.. it dont work, seems outdated..
I was trying to make a new one.. but cant seem to get it to work 100%, So is there anything else to stop spam bots posting on the forums?

Why do you feel it doesn't work?

Nothing can really stop real people creating accounts and posting.

All any 'capture' can do is stop the automated spam bots.

well im assuming there is a scripting error that is allowing auto signups to bypass some of the restrictions.. i will investigate it later when i have more time.
