Hello everyone!

I am looking for a way to convert my phpbb3 forum to e107. I have found nothing useable on that, only about implementing phpbb3 into the e107 page, which is what I don't want.

I have, however, found this thread [-link-] saying that phpbb3 to e107 conversion will be available after 0.8, afaik we're having 1.0 now though.

Are there any news on that topic, or is phpbb2 still the only version supported. I'd really like to get rid of my phpbb forum and start using e107 instead, as it is linked to the user account system better than a phpbb forum can ever be.

Thanks in advance!

You mean phpbb2 obviously
I didn't know about the version rename, I thought we have already had 0.8 a long time ago.

Is there any other possible way to do the import? I didn't find anything useful on google or on the search so I'd really appreciate if anybody knew something about this.
And is this feature still coming?

Thanks for the info though!

v2.0 will probably offer such a conversion script, either at release or post-release.

Okay, thank you.
Any idea when v2.0 will be released? Is it worth waiting for it?
And is there any other possibility to work with an existing phpbb forum? maybe via a bridge?

It's getting closer. We're still doing a bit of final testing.

Great! I'm pretty sure you'll do a great job, like you did with the current version
