Hi,

I recently loaded e107 onto my website and very happy with the results (thanks!)

But there is one thing i am very unhappy with which is the little hyperlink available in the header area.

Here is my website; [-link-]

and there in the top left corner in orange brackets you can see 'TwentyFive9.com' that redirects people to 'home'. How do i remove it?

Thanks,

JC

Open your theme.php file...

Search for {SITENAME}

Delete it, save theme and reupload

My forum area is the original at the moment, how can i keep the original side bar with the options 'home, downloads, forum' etc? when opening the forum?

open you theme.php...

the layout of the forum is defined by a customheader and footer.

open theme.php

search for $CUSTOMPAGES

if you see forum_viewforum.php, forum_viewtopic.php etc.. etc..

then remove them pages and see if that works.

But it all depends on how the theme is coded, but the above option is probably the solution.

just came across this again;

I'm now using a different theme, something best suited for me.

If i delete this, what will happen to the tab information? because it usually appears in the tabs, or on top of the browser right? aswell as the header.

Removing from the theme, just removes it from the page, it does not delete the Preference where it is set.

Here is a handy list of things to do post-install [-link-]
