Idiot question

I have some questons like e107 is php/mysql combined right? is there any books on it?if so where?i checked the local barns and nobel and they didnt have it. any infomation would.

Its a web application coded in PHP using mysql database.
So to run it you need a Webserver, PHP installed and activated in webserver, mysql database installed and the e107 code.
info on all these components is abundent on the web.
