Well, I think I have finally got this thing to a good working release version out there for people to use. This addon, quite simply, is used to schedule raid events and track signups via e107. I've used a ton of others out there (phpraid, rs107, raidninja, etc) and just got sick of hacking things together so decided to make my own.
All downloads/questions/etc can be found at the dedicated site for it here:
(edited, temp link as i'm having an issue with my registar atm)
I currently only play World of Warcraft for a MMO so that is the data that is pre-loaded into it. I am open to suggestions on improving the plugin and welcome any feedback people can provide!
Just released version 1.1.0 which has EQDKP integration as well as a slew of other features that users have requested. I am hoping to add more MMOs available for the system over the next month or 2, but am needing a bit of help doing it.
Version 1.2.0 is in the testing phase and should be released by the end of the week. There are a TON of new features... highlights include:
* Recurring Events * Event Highlighting (so multiple groups can find their signups faster) * Auto-expiration of events * EQDKP Integration is now a 'datasource' - you can add as many of these (performance may suffer...) as you wish * All BC 5-man content and heroic keys have been added * Events can now be deleted * Better support for date/time in other languages * Raid Class Templates (5 provided by default, make adding events easier) * Auto-queue of alliance members (via e107 groups) * plus a ton of other things
We also got another supporting developer and are working to make REM multi-mmo compatible (ie. vanguard, eq, eq2, etc)
registar borked my dns settings, so trying to get them fixed, until they are, use the updated link in the first post plz... hope to have it fixed and for it to propagate in the next day or so... bleh
Just wanting to post a bump to this thread. I plan on updating this and most of the other plugins that I worked on a looooooooooong time ago for Mists of Pandaria. The old website doesn't work and I don't plan on resurrecting any of that. I have already begun working on revamping it and one of the things that I think led up to me quitting on it before was the complexity that I was building into it. It's going to be simple this time guys. Will let folks know when an alpha release or similar is ready for consumption.
If there are other plugins that others enjoyed or liked, please post here and I'll see what I can do about revamping those as well in due time. Having moved geographically 1500 miles from my old location I finally have some time to work on things again and start playing games again
Welcome back, I'm sure many people will look forward to your plugins being updated.
I don't have a list of plugins that need updated, but I have a list of plugins that already exist that are being support. This may help you decide which of yours to resurrect first:
Advanced Raid Planner System written by nlstart. This pretty much covers what the plugin in this thread does, perhaps (I haven't actually tested it).
I personally have written a progression plugin called wowprogress and a recruitment menu called wowrecruit. Both of which will get updated and currently support all current content.
I am also working on a group application manager called Avalanche. It's in a pre-alpha stage (not a lot of time to bring it to beta), however.
ARPS does every single thing a raid-planner should, nlstart did a great job implementing the much needed changes (I bugged him for many hours and weeks ^^).
The only handy plugin for games atm that is completely lacking from e107 scene (and this is not for me, currently the game I'm interested in, doesn't need a loot system) is a DKP system. A generic plugin that allows points/loot distribution that works from INSIDE e107.
Players/admins who run an e107 web-system, need to install eqdkp or other 3rd part solutions, have a duplicate db, or a db bridge to sort this out.
Another PROPER plugin for gamers that lacks, is a GENERIC accomplishment system, with an admin interface from where you can add the instance name, location, boss name, kill date, a server/world 1st tickable option and an option to add an image associated with that specific location. This could render in both a menu and a page, but the keyword in both suggestions is GENERIC, if you are going to do a wow or rift or GW2 or Terra or SWTOR or etc specific plugin, the success, the utility, and the flexibility will be limited.
If you are interesting in any of my suggestions I can go in-depth details, BASICALLY, if you GOT the time, I got the ideas (and experience in running MMO sites/guilds 4+ years).
I can second the need for a generic progression plugin. I have a working WoW, Rift, and ToR (though this cannot be released due to a client paying for the port) progression plugin and can more than likely convert it to a generic state at some point considering the basis behind adding new instances/bosses is done via an XML file. ... I'll add this to my todo list (which is already exceedingly long )

I can attest to this. Avalanche would not be where it is now, in terms of raw "content", if it weren't for MysterF.
